Router Password

For you to modify the router login password, after the password is successfully modified, it will automatically jump to the login page.

If have a USB port on the router, you can follow below steps to reset router password with a USB drive.

1) Prepare a USB flash drive and format the USB flash drive into the fat format. Then put an empty file named reset_passwd.txt in the root directory of the USB flash drive.

2) When the router is running, insert the USB flash drive, and after 1 minute, unplug the USB flash drive to restore the password.

Note:
When the password is restored through the USB flash drive, the router will not be restarted and the normal operation of the router will not be affected.

Besides the master password, you can set an extra password for the guests to access the router.
