Online Upgrade

After the router connected to the Internet, click the button “Check version” to check if have newer version firmware available. If have a newer version on our server, click upgrade to flash the latest firmware online.

If need to check and upgrade to the firmware at an appropriate time, you can schedule the online upgrade under [System Management] → [Cron Task] → [Cron Upgrade].

Local Upgrade

Keep Settings
Click the checkbox “Keep settings” to keep the router configurations on the current firmware.

Delay Reboot
The default setting is reboot router after flashing the firmware. You can schedule the reboot time, for example, tomorrow morning.

Click “Choose File” to upload the firmware file from the local drive of your computer.

Flash Image
Click the button “Flash Image” to start to upload the firmware file and flash the firmware.

After firmware flashing progress has started, the web browser will display the progress bar for a few minutes and then jump to the home page.

After the upgrade is complete, the router will automatically restart.

Note:
When you use IE6, IE8 browser or the corresponding compatibility mode, the progress bar may not work properly. It is recommended that you use the browser of the chrome kernel such as the Google Chrome browser.
