Connections Limit
The connections limit section controls the number of external connections to the entire network. If configure the connection limit on a single IP, the total concurrent maximum connection number of the intranet computer will be limited. This effective function is for network administrators to control the use of P2P software such as BT, Thunder, and e-mule on the intranet.
Setting the appropriate number of allowed connections can effectively control the number of connections that can be generated when P2P software is downloaded, and relatively limit the bandwidth usage. Besides, if the intranet has a virus similar to a shock wave in the computer and a large number of external connection requests are generated, the suppression can also be achieved.
