PPPoE Server
The router can be configured as a PPPoE server, so that the intranet users can only access the Internet through PPPoE dial-up, and can freely control the Internet access period, and automatically stop the network after the network expires. It saves the administrator the difficulty of managing each user individually.
The user is allowed to select local authentication or external RADIUS accounting service to provide users with more convenient and professional RADIUS charging services.
PPPoE Server Settings
Auth Method
Selectable from local accounts, RADIUS or any users.
Client IP Pool
The initial IP address for PPPoE clients in the intranet network.
DNS Server 1 & 2
Please fill in the IP address of the DNS server provided by the operator of the external line connected to the router.
Specified LAN Interface
The PPPoE server function should only use the LAN interface.
RADIUS Settings
RADIUS servers receive user connection requests, authenticate the user, and then return the configuration information necessary for the client to deliver service to the user. A RADIUS server can act as a proxy client to other RADIUS servers or other kinds of authentication servers.
To connect to an external RADIUS server, you need to select the authentication mode as RADIUS in the server settings module.
